Educational Visit to Morang District Court Today on September 25, 2026 , the BBA-LL.B. first-semester students of Manmohan Institute of Law visited the Morang District Court as part of their academic and practical learning. The visit provided students with valuable exposure to the functions and proceedings of the District Court, judicial processes, and various aspects of court operations. We were honored to host Mr. Dipendra Khadka, DDA, Biratnagar and Secretary of the Nepal Pharmacists Association (NPA), who delivered an insightful session on Nepal's pharmaceutical regulatory framework, professional standards, and the practical dimensions of regulatory affairs for aspiring pharmacy professionals. The interactive lecture provided students with valuable knowledge about the evolving pharmaceutical sector in Nepal while strengthening their understanding of regulatory compliance and professional responsibilities. In this difficult time of flash-flood disaster in Rasuwa district, the entire teaching and administrative staff of Manmohan Technical University (MTU) came together to express solidarity with the affected citizens and extend a helping hand to those in need. As a small gesture of humanitarian support, university faculty and staff voluntarily contributed to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund last Friday. Through this collective effort, the MTU family raised a total of NPR 4,64,000 (Four Lakh Sixty-Four Thousand Rupees) and contributed the amount to the Fund. During times of disaster, standing together and supporting one another is a shared responsibility. MTU believes that this contribution, though modest, will make a meaningful difference in relief, rescue, and rehabilitation efforts for the affected communities. The Manmohan Technical University family extends its heartfelt sympathy to all those affected by the disaster and wishes for their speedy recovery, rehabilitation, and return to normal life.
Welcome & Orientation 2026 at Manmohan Institute of Law Manmohan Institute of Law, the constituent college of Manmohan Technical University (MTU) under the School of Applied Science, Technology and Law, successfully organized Welcome & Orientation 2026 for its newly enrolled students through a three-session program aimed at inspiring, informing, and connecting the new students with the MTU family. The program commenced with a formal inaugural session featuring the Invocation of Commitment, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Dr. Kishor Adhikari, Registrar of Manmohan Technical University, and the singing of the National Anthem. The session was chaired by Shree Koshraj Neupane, Principal of Manmohan Institute of Law, in the presence of the Controller of Examinations, university officials, faculty members, parents, and distinguished guests. The second session featured an insightful keynote address by Dr. Jayati Kharga, Principal, Institute of Legal Studies, Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India, who shared valuable perspectives and inspiration with the newly enrolled students as they begin their academic journey. As part of the program, merit scholarship cheques were also distributed to deserving students of the second semester, recognizing and encouraging their academic performance and commitment to their studies. The program concluded with a vibrant welcome session organized by senior students, featuring peer-mentoring activities that encouraged interaction, friendship, guidance, and a strong sense of belonging among the new students.
