Welcome & Orientation 2026 at Manmohan Institute of LawManmohan Institute of Law, the constituent college of Manmohan Technical University (MTU) under the School of Applied Science, Technology and Law, successfully organized Welcome & Orientation 2026 for its newly enrolled students through a three-session program aimed at inspiring, informing, and connecting the new students with the MTU family.The program commenced with a formal inaugural session featuring the Invocation of Commitment, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Dr. Kishor Adhikari, Registrar of Manmohan Technical University, and the singing of the National Anthem. The session was chaired by Shree Koshraj Neupane, Principal of Manmohan Institute of Law, in the presence of the Controller of Examinations, university officials, faculty members, parents, and distinguished guests.The second session featured an insightful keynote address by Dr. Jayati Kharga, Principal, Institute of Legal Studies, Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India, who shared valuable perspectives and inspiration with the newly enrolled students as they begin their academic journey.As part of the program, merit scholarship cheques were also distributed to deserving students of the second semester, recognizing and encouraging their academic performance and commitment to their studies.The program concluded with a vibrant welcome session organized by senior students, featuring peer-mentoring activities that encouraged interaction, friendship, guidance, and a strong sense of belonging among the new students.MTU warmly welcomes the new students and wishes them a fulfilling, successful, and rewarding academic journey ahead.
As the Government of Nepal has declared Bhadra 22, 2083, as a National Day of Mourning in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the recent Rasuwa flood, the Manmohan Technical University (MTU) family came together this evening to honor their memory.The University observed a two-minute silence and lit candles as a mark of respect and remembrance. The tribute program was attended by the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Dean, faculty members, staff, and student representatives.We remember with deep sorrow all those who lost their lives in this tragic disaster and extend our heartfelt condolences to their families and loved ones. We also wish a speedy and full recovery to those injured.In times of such profound loss and hardship, compassion, solidarity, and standing together as a community matter more than ever. May we continue to support one another and extend a helping hand to those affected as we face this difficult time together.
A three-day training program entitled "Basic Concepts of Earthquake Resistance and Quality Control of RCC Structures" was successfully conducted from 17–19 July 2026 in school of Engineering. Manmohan Technical University. The training aimed to strengthen participants' knowledge of earthquake-resistant construction practices, quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC), reinforced cement concrete (RCC) technology, material testing, and professional ethics.The program combined classroom lectures, practical demonstrations, interactive discussions, and a field visit. Renowned experts including Dr. Rekha Shrestha and Er. Jagadishwar Man Shrestha facilitated the sessions, sharing both theoretical knowledge and practical experiences related to earthquake-resistant construction and quality management.Participants: Students from 8th semester students, Engineers from Dharan SubmetroPolitian city, Engineers from Sangurigadhi rural municipality, Manmohan material testing lab technicians and engineer, Manmohan technical University SoE faculties.The objectives of the training were to:Enhance understanding of earthquakes and their impacts on buildings in Nepal.Strengthen knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) in RCC construction.Improve participants' understanding of RCC materials and concrete technology.Familiarize participants with material testing methods and non-destructive testing techniques.Promote coordination among architects, structural engineers, and geotechnical engineers.Encourage ethical engineering practices and professional responsibility
विश्वविद्यालयको स्कुल अफ इन्जिनियरिङका प्रशासन प्रमुख महेश राईका अनुसार विश्वविद्यालयमा चारवर्षे स्नातक इन्जिनियरिङ अध्ययन गरेका पहिलो समूहबाट इन्जिनियरको लाइसेन्सका लागि परीक्षा दिने कुल १७ जना विद्यार्थीहरूमध्ये ८२ दशमलव ३५ प्रतिशत अर्थात् १४ जना विद्यार्थीहरु उत्तीर्ण भएका छन् । विश्वविद्यालयबाट चारवर्षे स्नातक इन्जिनियरिङको परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण गरी परिषद्बाट लाइसेन्स प्राप्त गर्न सफल विद्यार्थीहरूले अब व्यावसायिक रूपमा पनि इन्जिनियरिङ सेवा गर्न पाउनेछन्। परीक्षाविज्ञ इन्जिनियर युवराज चौधरीकाे अनुसार मनमोहन विश्वविद्यालबाट पहिलोपटक इन्जिनियरिङ परिषद्को परीक्षा दिनेहरूमा सिभिलतर्फ १३ जनामा ११ जनाले र इलेक्ट्रिक एन्ड इलेक्ट्राेनिक्सतर्फ चारजनामा तीनजना पहिलो पटकमै उत्तीर्ण भएर इन्जिनियरको लाइसेन्स प्राप्त गर्न सफल भएका छन्। परिषद्को परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण गरेर इन्जिनियरको लाइसेन्स पाउने विद्यार्थीहरुमा सिभिलतर्फ अविनाश कुमार साह, अमितकुमार यादव, अनिशा रुचाल, अंशु रौनियार, फनिस कटुवाल,हरि पौडेल, एमडी अबु मिया सुफियान, निर्मला दाहाल, सुदर्शन गिरी, शुभुप्रभात काफ्ले र उमेश यादव छन्। यसैगरी, इलेक्ट्रिक एन्ड इलेक्ट्रोनिक्सतर्फ रोशनकुमार मेहथा, विश्वप्रसाद साह र लवनारायण राजवंशी छन्। कोशी प्रदेश सकारले २०७६ मा स्थापना गरेको देशकै पहिलो मनमोहन प्राविधिक विश्वविद्यालयले २०७८ देखि स्कुल अफ इन्जिनियरिङतर्फ सिभिल र इलेक्ट्रिक एन्ड इलेक्ट्रिोनिक्समा चारवर्षे स्नातक अध्यापन गराउन थालेको थियो। मोरङको बुढीगंगा गाउँपालिका-४, हात्तीमुढामा केन्द्रीय कार्यालय रहेको मनमोहन प्राविधिक विश्वविद्यालयले हाल इन्जिनियरिङ र फार्मेसीतर्फ स्नातक, कानुनमा पाँचवर्षे स्नातक र दुई स्नातोकोत्तर अनि हस्पिटल व्यवस्थापनमा स्नातकोत्तर विषय पठनपाठन गराइरहेकोे छ। साथै, विभिन्न आठवटा विषयमा तीनवर्षे डिप्लोमा पनि सञ्चालन गरिरहेको छ।

Today, Manmohan Technical University, School of Engineering successfully organized the Scholarship Honor Ceremony at the Office of the Dean, where students receiving Merit, Need-Based, and Partial Rebatement scholarships were honored for their academic achievements and dedication. The program became even more special with the presence of students’ parents, who proudly attended the ceremony and shared the moment of recognition. The Dean honored the scholarship recipients in the presence of the Head of the Civil Department and members of the university administration, highlighting the university’s commitment to encouraging academic excellence and supporting deserving students.
