BBA-LL.B. First-Semester Students of Manmohan Institute of Law Visit Morang District Court

Educational Visit to Morang District Court Today on September 25, 2026 , the BBA-LL.B. first-semester students of Manmohan Institute of Law visited the Morang District Court as part of their academic and practical learning. The visit provided students with valuable exposure to the functions and proceedings of the District Court, judicial processes, and various aspects of court operations. It is expected that this educational visit will enhance students’ practical understanding of the judicial system and provide them with meaningful insights into the application of law in practice.

World Pharmacists Day 2026 Celebration at MTU

🎓 MTU News & Update | World Pharmacists Day 2026 The Department of Pharmacy, School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Manmohan Technical University, proudly celebrated World Pharmacists Day 2026 under the global theme, "Empowering Pharmacists for Healthier Futures." The program was chaired by Mr. Saibijaya Rijal and attended by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Subash Shree Pokharel, Dr. Rekha Shrestha (Dean, School of Engineering), Shree Khadka Bahadur Rai (Police In-charge, Nemuwa), Mr. Sujan Burtel (Chief Administration Officer), faculty members, and B. Pharmacy students. The celebration honored the vital role of pharmacists in healthcare and reaffirmed the department's commitment to excellence in pharmacy education, research, professional development, and service to society.

MTU Delegation Successfully Represents University at HPEd-CON 2026 National Conference

🎓 MTU News & Update Students and faculty members from the Department of Pharmacy, School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (SOMAHS), and the Master of Hospital and Healthcare Management (MHHM) program, ASTL, represented Manmohan Technical University at the HPEd-CON 2026: National Conference of Health Professions Education, held on 18–19 September 2026 at Birat Medical College Teaching Hospital (BMCTH). The conference provided an enriching platform for learning, knowledge exchange, and professional networking with educators, researchers, and healthcare professionals from across the country. Their participation reflects MTU's continued commitment to academic excellence, innovation in health professions education, and the professional growth of its students and faculty. Guest Lecture on "Regulatory Affairs in Nepal" at MTU

🎓 MTU News & Update The Department of Pharmacy, School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (SOMAHS), Manmohan Technical University, successfully conducted a Guest Lecture on "Regulatory Affairs in Nepal" today. We were honored to host Mr. Dipendra Khadka, DDA, Biratnagar and Secretary of the Nepal Pharmacists Association (NPA), who delivered an insightful session on Nepal's pharmaceutical regulatory framework, professional standards, and the practical dimensions of regulatory affairs for aspiring pharmacy professionals. The interactive lecture provided students with valuable knowledge about the evolving pharmaceutical sector in Nepal while strengthening their understanding of regulatory compliance and professional responsibilities. Manmohan Technical University extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. Dipendra Khadka for sharing his expertise and to the faculty members and students whose enthusiastic participation made the program a meaningful learning experience. Support to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund

In this difficult time of flash-flood disaster in Rasuwa district, the entire teaching and administrative staff of Manmohan Technical University (MTU) came together to express solidarity with the affected citizens and extend a helping hand to those in need. As a small gesture of humanitarian support, university faculty and staff voluntarily contributed to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund last Friday. Through this collective effort, the MTU family raised a total of NPR 4,64,000 (Four Lakh Sixty-Four Thousand Rupees) and contributed the amount to the Fund. During times of disaster, standing together and supporting one another is a shared responsibility. MTU believes that this contribution, though modest, will make a meaningful difference in relief, rescue, and rehabilitation efforts for the affected communities. The Manmohan Technical University family extends its heartfelt sympathy to all those affected by the disaster and wishes for their speedy recovery, rehabilitation, and return to normal life.

Welcome & Orientation 2026 at Manmohan Institute of Law

Welcome & Orientation 2026 at Manmohan Institute of Law Manmohan Institute of Law, the constituent college of Manmohan Technical University (MTU) under the School of Applied Science, Technology and Law, successfully organized Welcome & Orientation 2026 for its newly enrolled students through a three-session program aimed at inspiring, informing, and connecting the new students with the MTU family. The program commenced with a formal inaugural session featuring the Invocation of Commitment, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Dr. Kishor Adhikari, Registrar of Manmohan Technical University, and the singing of the National Anthem. The session was chaired by Shree Koshraj Neupane, Principal of Manmohan Institute of Law, in the presence of the Controller of Examinations, university officials, faculty members, parents, and distinguished guests. The second session featured an insightful keynote address by Dr. Jayati Kharga, Principal, Institute of Legal Studies, Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India, who shared valuable perspectives and inspiration with the newly enrolled students as they begin their academic journey. As part of the program, merit scholarship cheques were also distributed to deserving students of the second semester, recognizing and encouraging their academic performance and commitment to their studies. The program concluded with a vibrant welcome session organized by senior students, featuring peer-mentoring activities that encouraged interaction, friendship, guidance, and a strong sense of belonging among the new students. MTU warmly welcomes the new students and wishes them a fulfilling, successful, and rewarding academic journey ahead.

A Tribute to the Victims of the Rasuwa Flood

As the Government of Nepal has declared Bhadra 22, 2083, as a National Day of Mourning in remembrance of those who lost their lives in the recent Rasuwa flood, the Manmohan Technical University (MTU) family came together this evening to honor their memory. The University observed a two-minute silence and lit candles as a mark of respect and remembrance. The tribute program was attended by the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Dean, faculty members, staff, and student representatives. We remember with deep sorrow all those who lost their lives in this tragic disaster and extend our heartfelt condolences to their families and loved ones. We also wish a speedy and full recovery to those injured. In times of such profound loss and hardship, compassion, solidarity, and standing together as a community matter more than ever. May we continue to support one another and extend a helping hand to those affected as we face this difficult time together.

Basic Concepts of Earthquake Resistance and Quality Control of RCC Structures

A three-day training program entitled "Basic Concepts of Earthquake Resistance and Quality Control of RCC Structures" was successfully conducted from 17–19 July 2026 in school of Engineering. Manmohan Technical University. The training aimed to strengthen participants' knowledge of earthquake-resistant construction practices, quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC), reinforced cement concrete (RCC) technology, material testing, and professional ethics. The program combined classroom lectures, practical demonstrations, interactive discussions, and a field visit. Renowned experts including Dr. Rekha Shrestha and Er. Jagadishwar Man Shrestha facilitated the sessions, sharing both theoretical knowledge and practical experiences related to earthquake-resistant construction and quality management. Participants: Students from 8th semester students, Engineers from Dharan SubmetroPolitian city, Engineers from Sangurigadhi rural municipality, Manmohan material testing lab technicians and engineer, Manmohan technical University SoE faculties. The objectives of the training were to: Enhance understanding of earthquakes and their impacts on buildings in Nepal. Strengthen knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) in RCC construction. Improve participants' understanding of RCC materials and concrete technology. Familiarize participants with material testing methods and non-destructive testing techniques. Promote coordination among architects, structural engineers, and geotechnical engineers. Encourage ethical engineering practices and professional responsibility
