World Pharmacists Day 2026 Celebration at MTU

🎓 MTU News & Update | World Pharmacists Day 2026 The Department of Pharmacy, School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Manmohan Technical University, proudly celebrated World Pharmacists Day 2026 under the global theme, "Empowering Pharmacists for Healthier Futures." The program was chaired by Mr. Saibijaya Rijal and attended by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Subash Shree Pokharel, Dr. Rekha Shrestha (Dean, School of Engineering), Shree Khadka Bahadur Rai (Police In-charge, Nemuwa), Mr. Sujan Burtel (Chief Administration Officer), faculty members, and B. Pharmacy students. The celebration honored the vital role of pharmacists in healthcare and reaffirmed the department's commitment to excellence in pharmacy education, research, professional development, and service to society.

Guest Lecture on "Regulatory Affairs in Nepal" at MTU

🎓 MTU News & Update The Department of Pharmacy, School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (SOMAHS), Manmohan Technical University, successfully conducted a Guest Lecture on "Regulatory Affairs in Nepal" today. We were honored to host Mr. Dipendra Khadka, DDA, Biratnagar and Secretary of the Nepal Pharmacists Association (NPA), who delivered an insightful session on Nepal's pharmaceutical regulatory framework, professional standards, and the practical dimensions of regulatory affairs for aspiring pharmacy professionals. The interactive lecture provided students with valuable knowledge about the evolving pharmaceutical sector in Nepal while strengthening their understanding of regulatory compliance and professional responsibilities. Manmohan Technical University extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. Dipendra Khadka for sharing his expertise and to the faculty members and students whose enthusiastic participation made the program a meaningful learning experience. Vibrant celebration of World Pharmacist Day at MTU

Manmohan Technical University (MTU) celebrates World Pharmacist Day on September 25, 2024 on theme "Pharmacist meeting global health needs". The event was marked with various activities and celebrations highlighting the crucial role of pharmacists in healthcare. The day began with a special assembly where the university's faculty and students gathered to acknowledge the contributions of pharmacists to society. The program was chaired by Mr. Saibijaya Rijal, Coordinator, Department of Pharmacy and welcome remark was extended by Mr. Atul Adhikari, Lecturer, Department of Pharmacy. . We acknowledge the esteemed presence of our chief guest Registrar of MTU Dr. Dil Nath Fuel who delivered a keynote address emphasizing the importance of ethical and professional practices in pharmacy. Additionally, presence of guest Mr. Bhim Prasad Kafle, Controller of Examination Section and valuable participation of other staffs of Pharmacy Department as well as BPharm students enriched the event, fostering meaningful discussion regarding pharmacy practice in current scenario.

T.B. Orientation Program

A Half Day Symposium on "Tuberculosis: Risk and Management" was organized by Department of Pharmacy, School of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Manmohan Technical University. Mr. Dhurb lal Uranw, Chief Executive Offiicer, Nepal Anti-Tuberculosis Association (NATA), Morang, Biratnagar presented paper on the Historical Background of Tuberculosis. Poonam Bista, District Program Coordinator, Birat Nepal Medical Trust, Morang, Biratnagar highlighted about Tuberculosis its sign and symptoms. Govinda Majhi, TB Province Coordinator, Save the Children explained about Incidence and Prevalence of TB in different province level and Santosh Kumar Gupta, Province Team Leader, Bagmati Welfare Society Nepal provided insight on government facilities regarding diagnosis and treatment of Tuberculosis in Nepal.
